**The Role**

Reporting to the Director, Donor and Stakeholder Relations, the Coordinator, Signature and Third
- party events is responsible for managing internal and external signature and third-party events, such as Pets in the Park and our Paws n’ Claws Gala. This position creates, maintains, and grows community support and revenue opportunities and identifies needs and resources for successful implementation of all EHS and donor fundraising event initiatives.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**

This position is responsible for a variety of duties as follows:

- Set policy, standards, guidelines, and expectations for EHS participation in signature and third-party events including presenting these events in a traditional format, via a virtual platform or some combination of hybrid delivery
- Coordinate all staff support and logistics required for successful implementation of events
- Develop Volunteer committees and teams to lead, support, implement and evaluate events
- Liaise with the Development Officer, Strategic Partnerships on the development, execution and direction for donor participation, stewardship, and acknowledgement of individual donors, and donors/sponsors in event-based fundraising and fund development initiatives

**Education and Requirements**
- A certificate, diploma or degree in a related field (fund development, business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, event planning)
- A minimum of 3 years of hands on experience in an event planning role is required
