**Part-Time Medical Office Assistant**

We are looking for someone to join our team part time, as soon as possible High Street medical clinic, a new vibrant clinic in the heart of Coquitlam is looking for part time MOA with flexible hours to support the clinic operations.

We are well organized and busy doctor's office in Coquitlam, looking for someone who can multitask, reliable, punctual, organized, uses time efficiently and wants to stay with us long-term.

**Position Brief**

Our Family Practice in Coquitlam is looking for a part-time MOA working in a hybrid role, ready to start immediately.

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Medical Office Assistant at High Street Medical Clinic located in Coquitlam, BC. The Medical Office Assistant will be responsible for performing administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and providing administrative assistance. They will also handle phone etiquette and use medical terminology in daily tasks. Some remote work is acceptable for this role.

Knowledge with Juno/Oscar is an asset.
- Experience working in a medical clinic is preferred
- MOA certificate preferred
- Juno/OSCAR EMR experience preferred

**POSITIONS: 1 Part-Time experienced MOA**

**MOA RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES; BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Triaging telephone calls with confidence and kindness
- Booking appointments
- Managing referrals and tasks in Juno/OSCAR EMR
- Greeting patients and escorting them to rooms
- Inventory control
- Experience with Insurance Verification and Administrative Assistance
- Cleaning exam rooms and keeping office appearance top-notch
- Height & Weight measurements
- Sending and tracking referrals
- Opening and closing duties
- Phone Etiquette and Appointment Scheduling skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is beneficial

**Job Type**: Part-Time

**Wage**: $19/hr

**Salary**: $19.00 per hour
