**Role Description**:
The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for generating revenue by researching markets; soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting technical requirements; providing technical information; and developing accounts.

**Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Conduct market research and identify sales opportunities
- Develop sales opportunities by managing lead generation, soliciting new accounts, and providing technical information
- Prepare and quote sales contracts and take lead in negotiating and closing contracts
- Arrange meetings and demonstration sessions with customers and prospective customers
- Fulfill orders and invoice customers; communicating expected delivery date; explaining stock-outs, etc.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, as well as negotiate new brand distribution and representation
- Maintain up-to-date forecasts and healthy pipelines and adhere to Stratatek KPI’s and revenue targets
- Plan and prepare sales presentations. Organize and attend industry trade shows
- Communicate customer needs, feedback, and market discoveries on new and existing products
- Update product content in eBay, Amazon, and WIX.
- Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities, etc.
- Drive to customer sites for service delivery.

**Qualifications**:

- University or College Degree in Engineering or Science or Business.
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience in a technology sales role. Experience in selling new/used equipment and calibration services; experience in technology selling to government or public organizations is an asset.
- Strong technical knowledge of Test and Measurement equipment. Experience in the Test & Measurement, Calibration Equipment, RF & Microwave, Power and High Voltage industries is a strong an asset.
- Must exhibit self-directedness, independence, and an extremely proactive approach.
- Experience in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual pipelines and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as learning and adopting new tools.
- Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
