Position is a general assistant for R&D manager of the company, which is a food manufacturer.

With a small team and a rapidly growing operation, this is a great opportunity for a young person to gain experience in the industry as well as manufacturing in a GPP regulated environment with plenty of room to grow with the company. Position is open to both final-year students and graduates in general chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences.

No prior experience is required, though previous analytical chemistry or food manufacturing experience is considered an asset. Solid grasp of broad concepts in chemistry and physics such as equilibriums, heat flow, concentrations etc. are a necessity due to the broad scope of work being performed.

Fluency in English is a necessity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Executing manufacturing instructions and performing experiments at instruction of the R&D manager.
- Troubleshooting formulation or mechanical issues.
- Supporting the team during production to ensure meeting the standard of quality.
- And a variety of nonspecific tasks depending on day-to-day requirements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op

**Salary**: $15.50-$25.99 per hour
