**Division**: Vancouver Radio - Programming/News
**Work Status**: Part-Time
**Location**: Vancouver, BC
**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Executive Producer, you will be responsible for reporting and anchoring on AM 730.
**You'll be working on things like**:
- Prepare and deliver traffic reports for AM 730 & other Corus Vancouver stations (CKNW, CFMI, CFOX)
- Research traffic conditions
- Conduct regular phone checks
- Update AM 730’s social media
- Operate AM 730 control board
- Write and perform traffic reports at the level of a major market talent
- Shift work including evenings weekends and holidays
If you have the following...we want to hear from you
- Education and/or experience in journalism, broadcast, or related field
- Passion for an all traffic format
- To know the Metro Vancouver roads and traffic patterns
- Experience meeting tight deadlines for broadcast
- Familiarity and ease in using Facebook, Twitter and other forms of social media;
- Excellent people skills with the ability to work independently, effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
