Are you motivated by and enthusiastic about helping people get to where they need to be? Are you a passionate on-air performer who knows Vancouver’s traffic patterns and routes well? If so, CityNews 1130 has a great opportunity for someone looking to make a difference at a major market radio station.

**What you will do**
- Deliver live traffic reports on CityNews 1130, “every ten minutes on the 1’s,” during the key Afternoon Drive period.
- Focus on the most important traffic routes in Metro Vancouver, helping as many listeners as you can
- Provide understanding, comfort and entertainment through your relatable on-air reports
- Support your teammates by communicating major traffic issues to the newsroom
- Answer the phones and take traffic reports from our audience
- Update traffic issues on our social media channels in a professional way

- A helpful nature and a dedication to our audience
- Major market sound and on-air performance ability
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced audience
- A knowledge of Metro Vancouver routes and traffic patterns
- An understanding of using social media for relaying critical information to audiences
- Because news never stops - a willingness to be flexible in your shifting when necessary
