They are hiring a Full Time Transportation Load Planner

**Job description**

Planners are a key component in ensuring customer satisfaction. Our client has 4 main terminals with warehousing facilities and an additional drop-yard.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have at least 3 years of cross-border **planning experience**:

- **Must have experience running a fully open board**:

- Must have experience with the following: Load Link, PC Miler, DAT, TMW (TruckMate),
- Fluent in English
- Team player in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate over the phone.
- Be persuasive and energetic.
- Flexible to cover other shifts as required
- Help resolve all issue that arise including, and not limited to, issues with drivers, customers, dispatchers, customs, and load booking
- Monitor and direct the dispatch team, at all times, to improve performance.
- Maximize load factor for optimal revenue per load
- Implement new rules and procedures within dispatch and operations.
- Train and direct new dispatch staff
- Looking for loads, FTL, LTL, cross-border
- Fully planning and dispatching (outbound and inbound) Van/Reefer division trucks
- Coordinating and managing driver runs and schedules.
- Maintaining accurate data entry and records related to all planning on the “Planning Board.”
- Overseeing and reviewing Driver and Owner/Operator pay
- After-hours dispatch via telephone as needed.
- Prepare reports as required by Management.
- Direct and assist dispatch employees with issues, especially after hours.
- Inputting checkpoints to monitor dispatch employees and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinates dock with loading instructions and details in a timely manner

**Salary**: $65K - $75K per year to start plus benefits - Depending on Experience
