**Impact You'll Make**:
The role of Regional Chief Operating Officer (COO) is the single point of accountability for all things related to Operations within the Region. As the trusted advisor to the Regional President and the Regional Leadership team, the COO ensures performance of Operations to all local regulatory standards while creating exceptional client and consumer experiences. The COO directly oversees critical aspects of the Canadian business including the onboarding of new clients, the acquisition of data sources, core production systems as well as business enablers such as analytics delivery channels and consumer servicing operations.

**Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities**:
**_Strategy _**

This role is key in shaping and executing the Operations Strategy in the Region, ensuring alignment to the Enterprise Strategy and its execution in Region
- Lead the development of the Regional Operations strategy (in line with the global strategy) and clearly define, deliver and communicate the strategy to all staff; using it to inform business objectives and decisions within the risk appetite of TransUnion
- Communicate and reinforce the approach to setting risk appetite and managing risk within Regional Operations
- Support the evolution and execution of the International Operations Strategy and play a fundamental role in executing the Global Operations Strategy in the region.

**_Operational Excellence _**

This role is critical in protecting TU’s reputation, in Region and Globally
- Guide workflow strategy of all essential business processes, continuously reviewing the efficacy of current Operations functions to drive maximum efficiency
- Onboard clients and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and aligned with the overall TransUnion strategy
- Operate and assure Data Source, Loading, Processing, Storage, Use and Retirement operational procedures, as defined in the Data Governance Framework
- Handle complaints and disputes in line with the relevant regulatory regime
