**Summary**

Located in downtown Toronto, Garfinkle Biderman LLP is a cohesive, efficient, and forward-thinking law firm, powered by a team of lawyers specializing in a wide range of practice areas. We are currently seeking an Office Support Clerk who is organized, detail-oriented and demonstrates strong communication skills as well as professionalism to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Close legal files in accordance with established system.
- Maintain cash receipts and disbursements postings.
- Conduct deposits, bill payments, certify cheques etc. at various banking institutions
- Process incoming and outgoing postage as well as daily mail pick-up.
- Distribute communications to related departments in a timely manner.
- Assist with managing the kitchen to ensure it is tidy and inventory is stocked.
- Monitor supplies and inventory levels as required.
- Relieve Reception Desk when required (i.e. answering phones, managing courier duties, and welcoming clients).
- Posting time dockets when required.
- All other administrative duties as required by the office.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1-2 years experience in an office support role, experience in a law firm considered an asset.
- Ability to perform physical activities as required, including bending, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and Self-motivated, highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Operates with a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships to become a trusted team player to lawyers, Law Clerks, and firm admin departments.
