We are looking for an Accounting Manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our financial managementteam.

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze and reconcile monthly sales and cogs.
- Prepare monthly journal entries for month end close.
- Assist Controller in preparing and analyzing the financial statements.
- Provide variance analysis of current month versus previous fiscal periods versus budget and rolling forecast for management review.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy, analyze, and review general ledger transactions for open and balance sheet and ensure transactions are posted to proper account.
- Prepare monthly recurring journal entries (allocations, prepaids, commissions, rebates, etc.).
- Review inventory transactions, analyze and reconcile SAP data with inventory subledger, escalate variance and provide support to variance resolution.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Always ensure compliance with corporate and accounting policies.
- Participate in preparation of ad-hoc financial reports and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
- Communicate with internal and external business partners to resolve pending issues and facilitate a positive working relationship, optimize current processes, and reduce defects.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the assigned process and other duties as assigned by management.
- Provide ad hoc support during internal and external audit reviews.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Cost centers Monthly reporting
- Perform costing and pricing analyses.
- Provide recommendations.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staffto ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisoror Finance Manager
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases. Experience with SAP is required. Experience with Cognos is a plus.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA designation or in process of obtaining it.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,579.88-$85,626.27 per year
