Reporting to the General Counsel & Privacy Officer, the Compliance Analyst will contribute towards the development, implementation, management and enhancement of Payworks’ governance and compliance programs and procedures, with a focus on privacy and corporate compliance.

**PROVIDE GUIDANCE & INNOVATION** - IT’S WHAT YOU’LL DO***:
- ** Deliver First-Rate Strategic Guidance** - Employing your background and experience, you will contribute towards and provide strategic operational guidance to the development, implementation, management and enhancement of Payworks’ governance and compliance programs, with a focus on privacy and corporate compliance.
- ** Update & Inform - **You will coordinate and support the annual review of privacy and compliance policies, processes, procedures, and materials to ensure we stay on the leading edge. You will also coordinate and compile metrics and key performance indicators for governance and compliance programs regularly.
- ** Champion High-Quality Compliance - **You will monitor current and emerging industry governance and compliance best practices and trends; assisting with mitigating and remediating potential areas of risk by performing privacy and compliance impact assessments on systems, vendors and projects, developing risk mitigation strategies, and conducting or assisting in investigations and audits.
- ** Educate & Communicate **- Leveraging your excellent communication skills, you will support the Legal & Privacy, Governance, and Enterprise Risk Management teams by liaising with key internal and external stakeholders as required on governance and compliance matters; this includes educating and providing employee mentoring through delivering governance and compliance-related training presentations and continuous interactions.
- ** Data Discovery & Tracking** - Working with other key stakeholders at Payworks, discover and document how data is collected, processed, and stored across our systems and solutions to ensure privacy is built in by design.
- ** Make an Impact** - You will also have the opportunity to complete special projects that matter to our business and other duties as assigned by the General Counsel & Privacy Officer.
**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED***:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Legal or related field of study.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in compliance, legal or privacy field including direct experience conducting risk assessments and developing risk management strategies.
- High level of confidentiality, critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, creative thinking, and proven project management skills.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic approach to taking on new opportunities and challenges.
- Ability to build strong relationships, support, and collaborate with all stakeholders involved in governance and compliance activities at Payworks.
