Intermediate Trade Compliance Analyst
**Functional Responsibility**:
The Intermediate Trade Compliance Analyst is primarily responsible for execution and maintenance of Price Industries’ international trade program; this includes, but is not limited to, maintaining internal trade data and systems, trade documentation creation and audit, and product classification and reporting for Price Industries Limited and Price Industries, Inc. The individual is also responsible for supporting international initiatives by providing full analysis of opportunities, relationship mapping and business case development.
As a member of the Trade team, Intermediate Trade Compliance Analyst works closely with buyers, manufacturing teams, engineers, logistics and product managers to support the Price business plan.
**Principal Duties**:

- Support managing Price’s trade program, which includes export/import classifications, licensing determinations, denied party screenings and sanctions programs, identifying deemed exports.
- Demonstrate accountability and knowledge on trade compliance topics.
- Analyze current supply chain and business systems to ensure consistent trade practices.
- Gain knowledge of regulations, statutes, and laws regarding trade compliance requirements impacting Price’s business activities.
- Responsible for the correct classification, usage and reporting of Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs), tariff codes (HTS), Country of Origin information (COO), and Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and other required information as necessary.
- Interface with other business functions to ensure documentation is accurate and maintained.
- Oversee the required record retention of documents to ensure recordkeeping and reporting requirements are maintained in accordance with the Canadian, U.S. & other foreign regulations.
- Monitor the conduct of business activities for adherence to import/export procedures throughout the business, including early-stage review of new models and classification of commodities through final delivery to customers.
- Support Sales and Engineering departments to structure global transactions to ensure adherence with US/Canada import/export laws and regulations, as well as laws/regulations of foreign jurisdictions.
- Work with management to implement any identified corrective actions.
- Liaise with Price’s selected Customs Brokers.
- Maintain regular communication with buyers, manufacturing leadership and product managers to ensure alignment with business direction.
- Support international business development by creating processes that support trade compliance as well as gather information to support international relationship development.
- Deliver reporting on Price’s compliance activities.
