FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

- Prepare group/individual travel, payment of invoices and arranging payment of travel claims;
- Lead the coordination of the Students on Ice file;
- Request Temporary Teaching Authorizations and Tolerances from the MEESR for teachers who are not yet certified and give a follow up to the requests alongside the Administration Officer;
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director and the Administration Officer in the preparation of annual reports to be presented to the MEESR, to McGill and to the Commissioners;
- Any other related task, as directed by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
College diploma (DEC) in administration or a diploma or attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the Board.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Fluency in two of the three languages of the Board (Inuktitut, English, French)
- Experience working in Training and Research is an asset.
- Occasional travel will be required.
- Understanding of government forms in French is a definite asset.

WORKING HOURS:
35 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

CLASSIFICATION/ SALARY/ BENEFITS:
In accordance with the AENQ collective agreement for support staff, this position belongs to job category 4211: from $24.21 to $32.32 an hour depending on qualification and experience. All benefits are prorated based on the percentage of the task.
