Alright, here’s the deal.
We’re looking for a **Head Chef** who’s equal parts creative, organized, and unflappable — someone who can run a busy kitchen with confidence, care, and a touch of swagger. At **Annabelle’s Kitchen**, we believe in food that’s fresh, vibrant, and made with love (and actual clean cutting boards). We’re a small but mighty restaurant family, and we need a leader who can bring structure, consistency, and inspiration to our team — _without killing the fun._
**What We’re Looking For**:
- **Proven experience** in a leadership role (Chef de Cuisine, Head Chef, or equivalent), ideally in upscale-casual or Italian-inspired dining.
- Someone who can oversee staff management, quality, and consistency like a pro.
- **A clean freak.** Seriously. You care about sanitation, organization, and systems that _work_.
- **Financial chops**: budgeting, food costs, ordering, scheduling — you get it, and you nail it.
- **Menu development skills**: you know how to create dishes that wow guests and make sense for the bottom line.
- **Strong leadership presence** — you hold people accountable _and_ inspire them to do their best work.
- You communicate clearly, teach effectively, and **don’t let standards slide**.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
- Running Annabelle’s Kitchen with consistency, quality, and calm.
- Building, training, and motivating a team that’s tight, efficient, and proud of what they do.
- Managing food and labor costs, ordering, and inventory with precision.
- Maintaining a spotless kitchen — organization & cleanliness is your love language.
- Leading menu development and seasonal changes alongside ownership.
- Ensuring every plate that hits the pass looks (and tastes) like it came from nonna's hands.
