Kal-Polymers is a plastics compounding company providing clean post-industrial recycled/upcycled material to many industries. KP is looking to hire a Maintenance Manager who will support the plant manager and be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Maintenance department. The individual will manage a team of several maintenance technicians focused on performing corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance procedures to material handling equipment, conveyor and control systems, and associated scanning equipment.

Shift Hours: Must be flexible to any of the following shifts: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 3:30 pm
- 12:00 am, and 12:00 am - 8:00 am.

**Main Responsibilities**
- A maintenance manager is responsible for keeping the ground operations running by managing and overseeing all maintenance-related activities.
- Direct the maintenance and repair of Kal-Polymers' machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensuring that all maintenance operations are done in accordance with company policy and occupational Health and Safety (OH& S) for its safety standards and all industry regulations.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs
- Co-ordinate cleaning, snow removal, and landscaping operations
- Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services
- Plan and manage a facility's maintenance budget
- Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff.
- Must be willing to participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of a college or university program in electrical or mechanical engineering or building maintenance.
- Several years of supervisory experience in facility operations or maintenance are required.
- Excellent verbal English communication skills.
- Experience with EREMA machines or similar machinery is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $63,000.00 per year

- EREMA machinery: 1 year (preferred)
