The Acton Veterinary Clinic is looking for a weekend kennel attendant.

We pride ourselves on being a positive, fun-loving clinic that provides excellent client & patient care. The right person needs to be a team player, be able to work independently, must have initiative, have great communication skills & have a love of people as well as pets. Experience working with animals is required.

As kennel attendant you will be responsible for providing compassionate and attentive care for our patients. You must maintain a clean an healthy environment for animals, clients and staff and assist with other duties as needed. Experience medicating animals is an asset.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to; Cleaning entire hospital, cleaning patients kennels, feeding and medicating patients, monitoring patients daily habits, communicating findings and concerns with technicians and veterinarians, walking dogs and handling cats and other small animals.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Every Weekend
- Weekends only

- Acton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
