Superior Glove Works Ltd.is currently hiring for a **HR & Health & Safety Intern **to work out of its Global Headquarters located in Acton ON Canada.

**Responsibilities**:
- Serve as Secretary for the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
- Perform physical demands analysis for various roles.
- Audit First Aid Kits and replenish supplies accordingly.
- Participate in safety inspections.
- Develop quick reference guides for Safety Data Sheets.
- Write monthly informative Health and Safety articles for SGW company newsletter.
- Perform hazard assessments under direction of a Safety Leader.
- Maintain Health and Safety communication boards and documentation, such as Fire Drill Attendance Forms, JHSC personnel lists, and First Aid Incident reports.
- Help maintain training records and materials, follow up with team members.
- Assist with annual Steps Challenge, tracking progress for all locations and provide regular communication and updates.
- Standardize and catalogue all physical demands analysis (PDA) for descriptions companywide, maintain in single directory, update format, information and job roles information on each PDA.
**Qualifications**:
- Currently enrolled in high school or post-secondary school.
- Must have previous experience with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written).
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks based on the needs of the business.
- A high attention-to-detail when looking for discrepancies, proofreading documentation, and reports.
- Ability to follow instructions and guidelines with the safety of yourself and others at heart.
- Collaborate with Team Members within HR and other departments to achieve objectives.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
