**_About the Opportunity:_**
Under the overall direction of the CAO, you will work to meet the community’s business and economic development goals. You will help to implement initiatives to attract investment and business opportunities and support business retention and expansion in the community. You will lead a range of programs, services, and activities including design and implementation of an economic development strategy, and developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on strategic economic initiatives. In addition, you will manage business outreach, local economic development, business improvement area (BIA) management, community marketing, tourism and small business support services, and strategic project facilitation.

Along with a strong business acumen, you bring to this role a related bachelor’s degree along with 3 or more years of progressive experience in economic/business development, public relations, and marketing, which includes experience with the coordination and implementation of long-range economic/business development activities and managing projects with a wide range of scope and complexity. You have strong writing skills, statistical research and social media expertise. Exceptional communication, engagement, and relationship-building skills are essential to success in this role.

The salary range for this position is $106,522 - $121,048 annually, plus an excellent benefits package. The Township also offers continued career and professional development opportunities and a workplace culture that values accountability, integrity, teamwork, passion, and service excellence.
