**HERE'S WHAT WE DO**

As one of the fastest-growing metal recycling and management organizations across North America, Combined Metal Industries (CMI for short) sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all metals that enter our yards will create something new again We have multiple sites, located in North York, Vaughan, and Cambridge.

**HERE’S WHERE YOU COME IN**

We are looking for an organized and driven individual to join our Logistics team. In this role, you will provide service to internal and external customers and coordinate outgoing shipments of material.

**SOUND GOOD SO FAR? HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE**
- Book trucking transportation for outbound & brokerage loads
- Create runs within the internal system for all outbound shipments
- Create, send and store transport orders for each shipment
- Update and maintain the yard calendars for outbound shipments that are booked
- Update and maintain the centralized shipping contacts
- Track shipments to ensure timeliness
- Coordinate safety of loads when held over with safe and secure carrier yards
- Develop new carriers
- Maintain rate sheets and scorecards on cost and quality of service
- Other tasks as required

**WHAT WILL MAKE YOU A VALUED MEMBER OF OUR TEAM?**
- Graduate of a business and or logistics/supply chain program
- Desire to develop your career in transportation/logistics
- Proficient with MS Office
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Detail Oriented
- Strong judgment and decision-making ability
- High sense of initiative
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
