Sun Transportation Systems is an asset based transportation company. We provide FTL transportation services from and to Canada and the United States. We are looking for motivated individuals to work as planners based out of our **Bolton Terminal, **in **Bolton, ON. **Responsibilities will include co-ordinating pickups and deliveries in GTA, communicating with drivers and ensuring all shipments are tracking on time and communicating to the customer proactively when needed

**Qualifications**:

- Years of Experience Required: 1 years of planning or dispatching experience.
- Samsara and Workflow knowledge an asset
- TransPlus Fleet Manager knowledge an asset
- Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn
- Initiative taker
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), organizational, and time management skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision under pressure and time constraints in a stressful environment

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day communication, via phone and ELDs, with an assigned fleet of drivers to ensure proper load instructions are passed along and carried out
- Following up with drivers to ensure they follow correct procedure to arrive and depart locations
- Co-ordinate loads to ensure the best time efficiency and on-time pickup and delivery scores
- Manage service concerns, as required, to limit exposure and minimize impact to the customer
- Assist other dispatch staff as required during spikes in workload
- Assist other dispatch staff as required by preparing and analyzing various reports
- Provide Drivers with the right information and equipment to create a positive customer experience from start to finish
