PSI is a young, dynamic and thriving organization, headquartered in Markham, Ontario, and we are seeking a culturally aligned Business Development Associate for ( **Brampton/Mississauga/Oakville)** Region to join our team.

A BDA is responsible for driving a high level of door/store acquisitions to maximize the points of distribution for the products within his/her designated region. Enjoying a fast-moving consumer goods market, the BDA is organized, and can manage her/his time effectively to steadily grow the Convenience & Gas (C&G) channel in their territory of focus. This position will be measured on key business performance metrics (i.e., new accounts opened, breadth of PSI products carried, minimum viable customer education/product knowledge and revenue generation). Each BDA acts as a Company ambassador to educate clients on responsible selling, product functionality and regulations as detailed by the company.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Selling with excellence to C&G prospects and clients
- Utilizing field sales experience to prospect, secure new business and develop value-oriented business relationships
- Representing and helping build product brands in a socially responsible manner within a regulated industry
- Strong prospecting skills to drive new product or program lunch performance
- Connecting and following up with existing clients to build long-term relationships to sustainably grow the business
- Servicing will entail helping clients overcome challenges, merchandising, replenishment of product and taking reasonable steps to ensure a positive client experience
- Coordinating daily route planning, inventory management, C.O.D. selling, replenishment as well as administrative and reporting (expenses/kms/general feedback) in a timely manner
- Visiting the desired quantity of C&G locations daily and logging activities, follow-ups and opportunities in the Company’s CRM system in real-time
- Analyzing and utilizing the provided sales and market information in fact-based selling with clients
- Adapting to changing environments, and embracing continuous learning and personal growth
- Effectively manage and meet administrative deadlines to submit expenses and reports
- Training clients to order online thereby creating efficiencies

**Qualifications**:

- Understanding of the selling process end-to-end, and demonstrable selling skills
- Disciplined time management - Plan/structure one’s day/time according to priorities
- Comfortable using and leveraging the Web, Applications and CRM systems
- Valid Drivers License and own vehicle
- Fully COVID-vaccinated
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Field/territory management experience (2-3 years)
- Experience cold calling & winning new business
- Account development experience (2-3 years)
- Experience in a competitive product category/market
- Post-secondary education - Business related
- Experience selling in a highly regulated environment
- Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods market
