OMT Hospitality Inc., o/a Old Mill Toronto holds a 200-seat fine dining Restaurant, Tea Garden, Wedding Chapel and 16 distinctly decorated meeting and banquet rooms for 8 to 800 guests with over 20,000 square feet of space to host the events.

Old Mill is conveniently located 2 minutes from the Old Mill Subway Station (on the Bloor line), 15 minutes from downtown Toronto as well as Pearson International Airport.

Our goal at Old Mill Toronto is to provide a high standard of guest satisfaction through superb cuisine and a very high standard of efficient and courteous service.

Coordination:

- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event requirements, objectives, and preferences.
- Conducts on-site inspections/tours of contracted space with clients
- Provide expert guidance to clients on meeting setup, logístical planning, menu selection and other event-related services.
- Communicates client specifications to department managers and Chefs to promote proper implementation of client specifications.
- Develop detailed event plans, including cost estimates, timelines, logístical arrangements and final contracting.
- Consult and recommend on in-house services and pricing information.
- Promotes and up sells all other available services offered by Old Mill Toronto.
- Follows up with clients after functions and network re-booking of any events for future business.

Customer Relations:

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs, and promptly and professionally responding to all inquiries.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors to deliver exceptional event experiences.
- Responsible for maintaining a high-energy, positive, professional appearance

Administrative:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date event records, client communications, and documentation.

**Job Skills and Requirements**
- 1-2 years of experience working in Event/Meeting planning, preferably in a banquet facility, related venue, or planning organization
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and to collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required by event schedules.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $38,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
