**Job Summary**:
Join our team at KITCHENETTE by Fresh Catering Co. as a “Catering and Prep Cook” and be part of a friendly neighborhood experience offering great coffee, delicious pastries, artisanal sandwiches, fresh salads, charcuterie boards, hot foods, and more. As a Catering and Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in supporting our catering and in-house operations by assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to the overall success of our catering services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
- Perform delegated tasks from Chef / Manager
- Working collaboratively with Kitchen staff to execute catering orders
- Contribute to maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and FOH staff
- Perform other duties as required
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards while handling and serving food.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth execution of catering events.

Qualifications:

- Valid Ontario Food Handler's certification
- Basic culinary and knife skills are required
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a collaborative setting
- Previous kitchen experience (min. 2 years) is a MUST
- Previous experience with catering is preferred
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 25kg and stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility in schedule (including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and some
holidays)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
