**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Looking to be a part of an experienced and passionate team? As we continue to grow in this exciting and fast paced environment, Eatertainment provides an excellent opportunity for you to learn from the experts With our new loft office and test kitchen working side by side, the Event Manager will be a part of the team and get first-hand experience of how events are run from beginning to end.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Sales calls and meetings with clients
- Creating client proposals and contracts
- Collecting signed contracts and deposits in conjunction with our internal policies
- Planning, organizing and executing events
- Assisting with menu planning, booking staff, décor, florals, etc.
- Planning and coordinating with suppliers
- Working alongside with venue partners
- Collaborating with the sales and culinary teams on food trends and creativeexecution
- Working closely with the Operations team to ensure all internal documents aredistributed in a timely manner

**SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
- Some knowledge of food and beverage an asset
- Enthusiastic relationship builder
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and accomplish tasks
- Must be able to pay attention to detail and have excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Passionate about sales, growth and learning
- Proficient using Microsoft Office

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have a valid G driver’s license to use company vehicles
- Post-secondary education with hospitality, food and beverage, hotelmanagement, communications or marketing preferred
- Ability to also work in the evenings and weekends as required for event execution
- Able to work in our office, conveniently located at Eastern & Carlaw, Monday -Friday

**COMPENSATION**:

- Annual $40k - $50k, to be determined based on experience
- Company laptop and cell phone
- Additional bonus on sales as well as access to our company benefits program
