Total Healthcare Solutions (THCS) is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to provide intervention to clients in their home and in the community in **Thunder Bay, Ontario**. The rehabilitation assistant is responsible for carrying out intervention and tasks assigned by the therapist(s) (OT/PT) in order to support the client’s rehabilitation goals.

- Rehabilitation experience.
- Valid driver’s license, have access to a reliable vehicle and willing to travel locally during the session.
- Graduate of a PTA/OTA recognized community college program or its equivalent in the area of rehabilitation or health sciences is an asset.
- Fully Vaccinated
- Experience working with the elderly and persons with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities is an asset.
- Experience with brain injury and cognitive intervention is an asset.
- Excellent time management skills, self-direction and ability to work well independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team

**Responsibilities include**:

- Regular completion of progress notes
- Provide OT/PT carryover treatment in the home, school or work environments
- Assist clients to meet rehabilitation goals, as assigned by the team therapist(s)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
