**Job Description**:
Rockwell Automation is seeking a passionate and dynamic marketer, a Commercial Marketing Specialist, Information Solutions
- VAR, to lead our marketing efforts to help accelerate the growth of Information Solutions with key partners serving a wide range of markets, industries, and customers.
In this role, you will work closely under guidance from the Sr. Channel Marketing Manager to develop global commercial strategies that promote Rockwell Automation product/services/solutions through the Information Solutions Value-Add Reseller (IS VAR) and Information Solutions System Integrator (IS SI) partners to maximize revenue and market share.
You will also actively collaborate with the Portfolio Marketing Team, Market Access, and regional leads to develop global commercial strategies and content to maximize sales and revenue through the channel. You will closely partner with our software marketing teams to create content and a full scope of demand gen tactics for activation by our channel partners.
This position can be REMOTE, Anywhere in CANADA. This role reports to the Senior Channel Marketing Manager
What you will do
Customer Needs/Experience Research/Industry Awareness & External Networks
Leverage research and analyze data to develop and/or support a sound understanding of customer segments, trends, needs, and expectations. Translate market, industry, and product research within to address new market and business opportunities, identify internal and external campaigns and partnerships to fuel innovation. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research focused on partner needs to better serve customers in the information solutions space.
Product and Solution Go-to-Market
Develop and activate go-to-market strategy through appropriate channels based on evaluation of the proposed complex products, solution, and services.
Channels and Touchpoints Integration
Define the approach and delivery of multichannel marketing integration, ensuring the right processes and methodologies are in place to integrate the customer’s point of view, from customer acquisition to engagement success.
Marketing Campaign Development
Partner with Software Marketing Teams to create content that supports a full scope of demand gen tactics, ensuring the content is written in the appropriate voice for each partner type. Manage communication, content alignment, and content delivery to the channel partners with a major focus on content writing.
Strategy Formulation and Implementation
Co-develop tactical plans with regions to drive demand with IS VAR channel.
Business Planning
Contribute to the development of campaign plans, forecast performance against business key performance indicators; develop business use cases for key activities/projects: and estimate the financial and human resources required to deliver performance targets.
Insights and Reporting
Contribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates. Lead execution of complex reports, identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement and Network of Influence
Build and leverage relationships across Portfolio Marketing, Market Access, and regional marketing teams to influence process improvements on behalf of channel partner and customer needs.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree- Ability to Travel 5-10% Travel- Rockwell Automation will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Canada for this opening. No sponsorship is being offered with this role.
Preferred Qualifications- BS In Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering is preferred- MBA in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred- 5+ years of experience in Commercial Marketing- Ideally 3+ years’ of Software, Information Solutions Industry experience- Launching Products and Solutions through a Partner Network/Channel
