Reporting to the offsite Compass lead, the **Guest Experience & Event Coordinator** is responsible for establishing a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives, and staff members at a leading technology and consulting firm in downtown Vancouver. They will assist with the planning and execution of in office special events.

If you were to come on board as our **Guest Experience & Event Coordinator**, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

- Provide engaging and anticipative service to all office employees and visitors
- Work closely with facilities, local technology, and other workplace departments to ensure a flawless guest experience
- Provide planning and logístical support for in office events (daytime and/or late afternoon or early evening)
- Collaborate with event requestors, Workplace, and Technology team members to ensure events meet requirements and associated budgets
- Work with external service providers on sourcing and execution of in office events
- Share information about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants, and other points of interest
- Operate telecommunication systems and manage incoming calls
- Restock supplies and consumables
- Assist with life safety, security and fire procedures as required
- Interact with 3rdparty vendors
- Assist with room set ups and catering requests
- Conduct opening and closing walkthroughs
- Light housekeeping duties as required

- Relevant degree or working experience in a luxury hospitality environment is considered a strong asset - corporate, restaurant or hotels
- Previous experience in an Event Management role considered a strong asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytically inclined with proven collaboration abilities
- Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet frequent deadlines
- Strong business acumen & professionalism
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment including Microsoft office tools.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year
