EggSolutions-Vanderpols Inc. formally known as Vanderpols Eggs. A food processing plant that takes whole takes and transforms them into liquid form to supply a variety of organizations. We work with fresh, frozen, organic, and cooked eggs

We are now hiring for a QA Technician at our Abbotsford location. Our quickly growing company has plenty of departments to grow and develop your career

**Who are you**:

- Knowledgeable about Regulatory requirements, operating procedures, GMPs and GDPs.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Identify and help solve problems that may arise.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively.

**What you'll do**:
Quality Assurance
- Aid production on corrective actions and root cause assessments.
- Conduct internals inspection, identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Follow up on non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions.

Technical Assistance
- Monitor production to ensure requirements met.
- Assist QA Associates (Production document review, label review, environmental testing, maintaining records)

Document Control Systems
- Review/Assess SOP’s/log sheets and other documents.
- Collect supplier and contractor facility documentation

Verification
- Performance daily verifications in key areas.

**What you've done**:

- Diploma in Food Science/Biotechnology
- 2.5+ Years of experience in a related field.
- Experience with HACCP and SQF

**Salary**: $40,775.00-$48,093.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Food Science/BioTech: 2 years (preferred)
