Rossdown Natural Foods is looking for a **Quality Assurance Technician** to join their team. This position will work out of our Manufacturing plant.

- **Accountabilities**:_
- Train the plant staff on HAACP
- Monitoring staff regarding cleanliness and/or personal hygiene
- Complete routine tasks such as collecting, reviewing, and filing forms and documents
- Job related with antimicrobial usage and monitoring to ensure the accuracy of dose
- Customer complaints monitoring
- Monitor procedures throughout the plant to ensure effectiveness
- Additional tasks (Audits, training sessions, MPIP training)
- Preoperational check for start up
- Quality checks during processing and on final product
- Routine sampling for the laboratory
- **What you need to have**_
- HACCP Knowledge is considered an asset
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in quality control, quality assurance or biological science from Canada is required
- Antimicrobial/Chemical handling experience
- Food Safe Certification
- Assertive Communicator
- Good Listening, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience in handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
- Minimum 1-3 years related experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Ability to read and write English, other applicable language skills is an asset
