**CLIENT CARE COORDINATOR**

Work Specifics
- This is a part time contract until end of January 2025 with the possibility of extending beyond this time.
- The hours will be 2 days per week, totalling 16 hours minimum with possibility of up to 24 hours per week dependant on needs of the company.
- The position will be offered as an in-person role.
- Hours of operation for the company are between 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

Eligibility Requirements
- You are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
- You have a Valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) or a SIN ending in 9, and you are legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
- You reside in an area within reasonable commuting distance to Kitchener, Ontario
- This role we be required to provide a satisfactory Drivers Abstract

About Us
Anishnabeg Outreach (AO) is a non-profit and registered charity guided by a volunteer Board of Directors. We provide access to culturally appropriate services and support for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis individuals to overcome barriers. Our programs encourage the exploration of avenues that will lead to self-sufficiency and success.

**Scope**:
Your Main Responsibilities
- Delivery Driver:

- Responsible for delivering food bundles to participant families in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of goods while maintaining strong relationships with program participants.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and ensure delivery schedules are adhered to.
- Program Assistance:

- Provide essential support to program facilitators and managers in planning and organizing various program activities and events.
- Help maintain program documentation, records, and data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Participant Support:

- Act as a liaison between program participants and facilitators, addressing inquiries, providing information, and offering support.
- Assist in participant recruitment efforts by distributing program information within the community and encouraging engagement.

About You: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- College or post-secondary education in social work, community development, or a related field is an asset. High school education will also be accepted along with appropriate relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultures, histories, and traditions is an asset, with a strong commitment to cultural preservation and empowerment.
- Previous experience in program support, community outreach, or customer service roles is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse groups of people in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
