Here at Collectivfide we have big goals and big dreams, so we need to fill our team with amazing talent. We are looking to add to our Finance team. This role will be a key asset to the tear as you will be providing day to day and finance and accounting support for Collectivfide and support our broker partners.

This role will be primarily work from home but you will be expected to come into the Cambridge, ON office for collaboration days, team meetings/events.

**Here’s What You Will Be Doing **
- Perform the day-to-day accounting functions (e.g., AP/AR, journal entries, expense report management, credit card reconciliation, account reconciliations, initiation of bank transactions).
- Tax filing (EHT, HST, RST), banking duties
- Financial forecasting and variance analysis
- Responsible for completing month, quarterly and year-end close processes.
- Preparation of internal financial statements.
- Support our broker partners with any finance-related requests.
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring with the budget and financial modelling.
- Assist with the audit process and year-end broker valuations.
- Support ad hoc requests, projects, etc. to continuously improve the operations of Collectivfide and its broker network.
- Provide input and support to the M&A team from due diligence to close as necessary.
- Ensure that all financial information is accurate and prepared according to internal controls and adheres to all financial regulations and accounting standards.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years professional experience working in a finance or accounting role.
- Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Looking for proven track record in full cycle accounting.
- Experience with Quickbooks is an asset.
- Public accounting experience is an asset.
- Strong Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, V-look up)
- Must be able to work under tight month-end deadlines.
- Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders
