**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Service Delivery, the Desktop Support Specialist will provide Tier 2 and 3 Desktop Support and administer the company's various system portals, including cloud-based file management, training and Intranet vendors, Active Directory, and an 0365 environment. Other day-to-day duties include: installing new hardware, software and operating systems, mobile devices at the local office, local support of existing hardware, software, printers, workstations and phones, performance monitoring and tuning, troubleshooting, and retirement or upgrade of older hardware and software. In this role you will provide support to Amica’s on-site Toronto office users, remote WFH employees across Canada and users located in our multiple residences. You will be able to work a hybrid of remote and in the office work schedule.

**What you will be doing**
- Administration of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 Suite.
- Ensure proper asset management
- Perform end user license management
- Procurement and tracking of end user hardware and licensing.
- Perform ID management, adds, moves and changes.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of the local office network.
- Performs problem-solving to identify and resolve computer system and Network problems.

**What we’re looking for**
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in information systems support or related field from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of three years of related experience in end user and system support; MCSA certification or higher a plus
- ITIL foundations V3 or higher certified
- Experience working with ServiceNow
- Expertise in the support and maintenance of a O365 environment
- Expertise with Active Directory, Exchange, and 0365 Suite.
- Expertise in the deployment and support of a virtual desktop infrastructure and administration and basic networking concepts including routing, subnets and firewalls
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to convey resolution clearly and effectively to non technical end-users; read and interpret technical documents common to this environment
- Strong problem-solving skills to separate problems into individual components, systematically eliminating possible causes until a resolution is reached
