Head of Delivery Pricing and Optimization

**All about the role**

As the global Head of Delivery Pricing and Optimization you will influence the development of a global approach to courier pay for our self-supporting contractor delivery model. You will be accountable for both short-term tactical changes and long-term pay strategy, working closely with our global functions, including markets, product, and data science teams. Leveraging economic frameworks to assess markets, prices, and behaviour, you will set a global pay strategy for couriers and drive innovation through data and tech to implement a more sophisticated way of enhancing courier pay and incentives. You'll collaborate closely with product and tech teams to develop an effective toolset for directing and advancing courier pay to drive strong network performance and customer and restaurant experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Direct the development of global courier pay optimization opportunities through new analytical tools and experimentation
- Take ownership of global market pay analysis methods and industry trends review, utilizing insights to identify and pursue new opportunities and solutions
- Develop techniques for compiling, preparing, and presenting data by which Courier Pay practices can be evaluated and meaningful comparisons made
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to develop an effective toolset for overseeing and improving courier pay
- Collaborate with Market Directors and global functions to align on vision and strategy, securing buy-in and engagement to investment.
- Provide updates and share progress and impact with the senior management team
- ** Develop and guide a high-performing team of courier pay analysts**

**Can you deliver ***
- Strong awareness of pricing models, including demand and price elasticity and how they impact revenue and profitability
- Experience with pricing tools and software, such as Tableau, Excel, R, or Python
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimental design, and statistical analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation techniques, with the aptitude to communicate intricate pricing strategies and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong logical and solution-finding familiarity, with the knowledge of how to use data to identify optimisation opportunities and develop actionable insights
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as product, tech, and finance
- Able to adapt to a dynamic and ambiguous environment where priorities can change and new business obstacles arise
- Pragmatic and ‘hands-on' mentality
- Strong people innovator with the aptitude to motivate and develop talent
