**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to expand our food distribution network and market presence.
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the food industry.
- You enjoy making connections in a genuine, fun way.
- Ability to make sales targets and call targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and retailers, to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
- Monitor and track sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the management team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative marketing and sales initiatives to promote our food distribution services.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs and competitor activities, providing insights for business growth strategies.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in business development within the food distribution industry, preferably with a focus on desserts/pastries.
- Strong understanding of food distribution channels, logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to maintain productive partnerships.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing is a plus. (not required, but an asset.)
