Sutton Road Marking is seeking a **Customer Relations Manager** to drive industry awareness and education on pavement marking techniques and materials. This role is ideal for a dynamic and knowledgeable professional with a background in sales, business development, or construction-related industries who excels at relationship-building and technical education. While this is **not a direct sales role**, the Customer Relations Manager will play a key part in influencing decision-makers—such as developers, construction managers, and municipal officials—to specify high-quality pavement marking solutions in their contracts.

**Location**: Remote (Serving the Lower Mainland, with occasional travel to Vancouver Island and Interior BC)

**Position Type**: Full-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Industry Education & Advocacy**:

- Educate developers, general contractors, municipal representatives, and other stakeholders on the latest pavement marking techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
- Conduct presentations, lunch-and-learns, and site demonstrations to showcase the performance and durability of various marking solutions.
- Provide technical insights on pavement marking specifications, helping stakeholders make informed decisions when developing contracts and RFPs.

**Relationship Management & Business Development**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal governments, engineering firms, construction project managers, and developers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they understand how superior pavement marking solutions can enhance safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent Sutton Road Marking and foster new business relationships.

**Strategic Influence & Market Positioning**:

- Work closely with the operations team to stay informed on emerging road marking technologies and ensure Sutton Road Marking remains at the forefront of industry advancements.
- Gather industry feedback and market trends to help shape product offerings, service enhancements, and new business opportunities.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of road construction, pavement marking materials, or municipal infrastructure projects is an asset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into engaging, educational content.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including municipal officials, engineers, and contractors.
- Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while coordinating with internal teams.
- Ability to travel as needed to job sites, client meetings, and industry events.
