**Primary Function**:
Working closely with the Event Services Team, the Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling operational and front of house staff for events. This role ensures staffing needs are met and staff are effectively scheduled supporting employee engagement and ensuring the process and systems are utilized in support of the Company goals and objectives.

This role also supports Team Central administratively and helps to coordinate event day operations for uniform, radio and resource distribution to all event staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Scheduling administration of event and full-time staff utilizing the event business management system (EBMS/Ungerboeck), Dayforce and ABI;
- Audit and process timesheets for event and full-time staff through the appropriate channels, ensuring accuracy;
- Work with department managers to coordinate staffing levels required for each event;
- Liaise with external stakeholders to bring in additional personnel;
- Ensure scheduling is completed in compliance to the Collective Agreement;
- Work with internal stakeholders in creating communications to all staff regarding events;
- Adjust schedules based on operational changes and demands;
- Meet with Operations and Events Teams to forecast schedules based on event timelines;
- Answer staff inquiries regarding scheduling concerns and time off requests;
- Process leaves of absences and employee changes in General Availability;
- Participate and support the Team Central Supervisor in developing tactical, short term and long term projects;
- Work within and collaboratively with all Team Central staff;
- Be flexible to work various times ie. work event base times like evening and weekends times;
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and deadlines by internal and external stakeholders;
- Maintain and update scheduling policies and procedures;
- Participate in all staffing level meetings;
- Participate in Operations meetings;
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- Minimum Grade 12 education, with some post-secondary education in business and/or office administration preferred;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferable in a unionized environment;
- Experience leading a team, supervising unionized staff an asset;
- Experience using ABI and EBMS (Ungerboeck), or a similar scheduling program an asset;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently;
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time;
- High level of analytical and interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication;
- Proven ability to work well under pressure;
- Proven ability to work with a diverse team;
- Driven by service excellence.
