about the role
Chevron Australia Downstream has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Business and Card Consultant who will be responsible for achieving key financial targets and managing an assigned territory of Branded Retailers (Retail Owned Retailer Operated). This role will also support the day-to-day management of our StarCard business as required. Reporting to the Fuels Retail Manager, this exciting opportunity is based in Brisbane with regular domestic travel.
Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
- Account management of assigned retailer sites including overview of credit and general performance of sites.- Understanding financial drivers of retailer's business operations and provides site and account level consulting to drive same station sales and maximize station profitability.- Managing execution of all retail programs, fuels, card marketing to meet all brand, image and service standards and ensures compliance with Chevron branded agreements.- Soliciting new business and developing branding offers for new sites and retention deals for existing sites within area.- Assist the Card Sales Lead in the management of the StarCard customer portfolio including day to day administration, customer support and analysis- Using sales tools, such as SalesForce to manage all leads and opportunities.

- Working experience with Branded Retailers and strong market knowledge- Business Development Experience- Independent, able to build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities- Possess strong communication, interpersonal, customer relationship management and negotiation skills- Strong business and financial analytical skills- Excellent people skills and able to work with diverse groups- Demonstrated good teamwork abilities- Performance driven, self-motivated and solution orientated- Possess valid driving license
