about the role

Chevron Australia Downstream has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Analyst, Maintenance & Construction (Maintenance Planner) to join the Maintenance & Construction team. Reporting to the Maintenance & Construction Team Lead, this role will be based in Brisbane Head Office.

This role will be responsible for the Maintenance Planning within Chevron Australia Downstream and Compliance of all Preventative Maintenance Work Procedures, Policies, updates, and the completion of Preventative Maintenance Work Procedures; for all Chevron retail sites. Other responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
- Working with Maintenance & Construction Specialists and responsible for the development of the Annual Maintenance Plan within SAP and involved in the development of the Annual Maintenance Budget- Organising the drafting of new Maintenance Work Procedures as required and in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and Regulations- Managing all network Preventative Maintenance in a safe, reliable, and cost-effective manner- Developing and establishing quality criteria and technical specifications within the Scope of Works relative to the Preventative Maintenance activities being undertaken- Working with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent communication of Preventative Maintenance works to be conducted on Retail sites across the network.- Compliance reporting on Reactive and Preventative Maintenance (provide monthly reports in relation to Compliance, KPI’s and Status) of Preventative Maintenance Work Procedures against the Annual Maintenance Plan.- Working with internal and external stakeholders to prepare business cases as required for Capital & Operational expenditure related to Preventative Maintenance, including development of relevant approvals documentation. Developing plans, schedules, and controls for maintenance activities conducted within the network.- Managing all OE/HES processes and ensuring compliance. Ensures that Safe Work Practices are understood and implemented by maintenance providers.

Knowledge, skills, experience:
- Diploma in Asset Management, Project Management, Maintenance Management, or an associated field of expertise preferred but not essential- Trade qualification in a maintenance related field preferred but not essential- Associated technical and/or commercial experience preferred but not essential- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance related role- Experience in the Fuel / Oil / Petroleum industry, specifically with Maintenance Management Systems, Preventative Maintenance Work Procedures, Compliance, Reporting and Administration associated with Maintenance Management.- Knowledge and understanding of “Workplace Clearance Group” (WPCG). Will be a requirement to complete this training if not already accredited.- Proven commercial experience including development of maintenance plans, budgets, analysis, and interpretation of financial results.- Intermediate computer skills (including Microsoft - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data management).- Knowledge of HSE requirements and responsibilities and a strong health and safety focus is critical.- Ability to manage a multitude of tasks at the same time.- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.- Good negotiation skills.- Ability to resolve conflicts, manage contractors to meet and exceed performance expe
