about the role
Chevron Australia Downstream has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Inside Sales Representative to join the Sales Programs & Competency team. Reporting to the Team Lead, Sales Programs & Competency, this role will be based in Brisbane Head Office.
Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
Bid and Tenders- Developing/creating, delivering, and coordinating drafts, content development, finalisation and delivery of response for submission.- Developing project plans for submission including timelines, accountabilities and content assignments, and project manage tender workflow.- Developing creative and strategic ideas to communicate the value of our business to customers.- Collaborating with Sales Leaders to complete tender/proposal competitive analysis and identify deviations from standard product offerings and areas of non-conformance.- Analysing findings and determine tender response recommendations with relevant stakeholders.- Regular monitoring of various tender portals identifying new business opportunities for the Sales Team
Internal Sales- Provide business support for contract renewals for large commercial and industrial sector customers and prospects.- Manage the execution of new contracts.- Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams (B2B Fuels and Lubricants and Retail) in execution of lead generation programs.- Drive profitable growth by identifying cross and upsell opportunities.- Develop and maintain a business growth pipeline (Sales Force) to identifying opportunities for fuels, lubricants, and associated products; their volume and expected margin, their existing contractual position and expiry.
Business Support- Develop business presentations for quarterly/half yearly customers review meetings.- Assist the Business Consultants in creating new accounts and ongoing maintenance.- Assist in the proofing, editing, and writing of documents.- Provide support to the Commercial & RORO sales team to cover annual leave requirements.- Complete ad hoc administrative sales tasks to support Business Consultants.

Knowledge, skills, experience:
- Excellent Microsoft office skills- Experience using CRM, Customer Relationship Management Systems or Salesfoce CRM would be preferred- Excellent written communication skills with previous experience in document creation, presentation, and control- Strong organisationl, project management and execution skills- Proactive approach to recognising needs, anticipting issues, and solving problems- Strong interpersonal skills, team-orientated attitude, and superior attention to detail
