**Schedule**:Standard Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week or part-time.
**Salary**: Depending on experience
**Location**: Mint Head Office located in Edmonton, Alberta.

**Responsibilities**
- **Marketing Management**_
- Oversee the development and implementation of the brand strategy
- Develop the marketing strategy for new and existing programs
- Oversee the events, digital marketing, and public relations that align with the organizational goals and values
- Ensure all pharmacies have the proper tools and materials to meet revenue goals
- Work closely with board of directors to define the marketing materials and programs required to meet organizational goals
- Oversee the management of social media and direct programs to improve media reputation and recognition
- Create and launch campaigns
- Undertake continual analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
- **Communications**_
- Oversee the messaging and launch of communication releases related to organizational values, the mission, and vision
- Develop strategies to gain media attention where appropriate
- Drive corporate strategy, priorities, and changes through appropriate mediums
- Develop internal and external messaging to drive sales
- Develop communication strategies for delivery of company culture and business strategy
- Create rich and creative content that is optimized for search engines
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support
- Write reports on the effectiveness of programs and present to the Board
- **Additional Duties**_
- Develop and execute Mint’s marketing and communications strategy
- Lead all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
- Develop and drive Mint’s integrated and brand-aligned consumer direct marketing campaigns targeted to regional and national audiences
- Develop and communicate campaign plans and results to Mint shareholders and community stakeholders
- Oversee the negotiation of media partnerships for the organization
- Identify relevant marketing opportunities for the organization
- Oversee the marketing budget including budget control, expense forecasting and revenue management
- Analyze customer research, current market conditions and competitive information
- Ensure all marketing and communications efforts are effective and showcase the Mint brand
- Work with all pharmacy locations to provide a platform for promotion of product and services, as well as consultation on marketing, communications and performance
- Maintain excellent relations with shareholders, community stakeholders and partners
- Track media content/key messages
- Other duties as required and assigned.
- Ability to manage large budgets and tight timelines
- Ability to supervise and train team members
- Ability to assign and manage tasks and timelines with internal and external contacts
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Understanding of Mint products and services
- Understanding of social media
- Knowledge of media tracking systems
- Public speaking, special event planning and promotions experience
- Understanding of Destination Marketing Organizations
**Requirements**:
A unique combination of education and experience will be considered:
- Approximately 5+ years of previous experience in Marketing and Communications is required.
- Post secondary education degree or diploma in either Business, Marketing, Communications, Management or equivalent.
- Some light physical work such as bending, reaching, carrying light items, walking and standing is required.
- Advanced skills with Google Suite and Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Experience with marketing technology tools and CRMs.
**Marketing Lead Role - From Mint’s Google Drive**
**Coordination
- **Assist with the coordination of marketing and promotional material, such as brochures, calendars, business cards, posters, swag etc..
Liaise with various vendors to help execute projects such as marketing, local businesses, advertising companies, agencies, internal staff, media companies etc..
**Project Management - **Assign tasks to graphic designer,provide direction on marketing material created. Set up campaigns via Trello for all stores, graphic designer and other stakeholders to see progress of work and timelines.
**Promotional management -** Review promotional material, consider costs and budget and allocate funds.
**Online Management - **Manage all Google My Business pages, upload all current photos, edit hours and store information when necessary.
**Website - **Post related content, articles, edits, manage pages. Provide analytical reports on traffic insights, behaviours.
**Social Media - **create social media strategies, collaborate with graphic designer to create content calendars for social media posts and schedule accordingly.
