COR Audit Review Analyst - Edmonton (Hybrid)**Position Purpose**
The COR Audit Review Team administers the auditing requirements across Alberta. This team plays an important role in performing quality assurance reviews on audit submissions and acts as a Certifying Partner by facilitating, reviewing, and assisting in the process for the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program.
The COR Audit Review Analyst is responsible for performing quality assurance reviews on audits, ensuring audits have met government requirements, and providing coaching and mentoring to all levels of auditors. In your role, you will assist auditors in developing their knowledge and skills in auditing while also assisting companies in successfully completing the Certificate of Recognition (COR) process. In this Audit Analyst role, you will enhance your experience and knowledge of auditing and become familiar with the government requirements within Alberta.
**Major Accountabilities**
- Review audits to ensure they meet government requirements and perform quality assurance checks on the audits
- Make recommendations for the revision and development of auditing standards and implement these suggestions for improvement as required
- Participate in project work related to the Safety Audits and Certifications Operational Plans
- Promote the Alberta Construction Safety Association as a strong industry leader in safety culture by following safety practices & procedures
- Related duties as required
**Desired Skills and Experience**
**Education Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- Recognized safety designation and/or working towards a designation such as CRSP or CHSC
- Auditor certification(s)
**Experience**:
- 3+ years’ experience in Health and Safety in the construction industry
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Enjoy working independently within a collaborative team environment
- Experience using ACSA audit tools
- Proven coaching and mentoring skills
**Salary Range: $55,000 to $63,000 Annually
