**Job Overview**
Insurance Car Rentals is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Rental Operator to join our Calgary team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, driving, coordinating logistics, and delivering excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**
- Customer Service & Frontline Support
- Greet customers, process rentals, and clearly explain rental terms.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and insurance-related inquiries with professionalism.
- Maintain strong communication with insurance adjusters, towing companies, and body shops.
- Provide exceptional service during customer pick-ups and returns.
- Vehicle & Fleet Management
- Clean, vacuum, and sanitize vehicles before each rental.
- Inspect vehicles for damages, document condition, and report issues promptly.
- Keep fleet organized and ensure all vehicles are fueled, washed, and ready for dispatch.
- Coordinate repairs and servicing with body shops and mechanic partners.
- Operational & Dispatch Duties
- Manage rental dispatch efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups.
- Work closely with towing companies, body shops, and insurance companies for smooth vehicle movement.
- Pick up and drop off vehicles for customers, vendors, or repair facilities as needed.
- Complete daily logs, rental agreements, and inventory checks accurately using multiple software systems and digital tools.
- Maintain accurate digital and paper records in rental management systems.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario G Class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Good driver’s abstract required at time of hiring.
- Part-time and on-call availability on weekends for urgent customer needs or vehicle dispatch.
- Comfortable driving various vehicles (sedans, SUVs, minivans).
- Ability to lift 20-30 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience in customer service, automotive, delivery, or rental operations is an asset.

**Skills**
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Competency using multiple software platforms (rental systems, dispatch apps, digital forms, spreadsheets).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of insurance rentals or body-shop environments is an advantage.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
