**Role**:
Conduct organoleptic evaluations as well as physical and microbiological testing applicable to finished and raw materials, documenting the results following established procedures and participate in the inspection of the plant.
**Tasks**:
- Conduct organoleptic evaluations
- Tasting includes but is not limited to products containing any allergen (fish, seafood, wheat, soy, mustard, sulfites, etc.), any meat or poultry (chicken, turkey, pork, beef, etc.), etc.
- Conduct physical, chemical and microbiological testing applicable to finished products and raw materials ( including but not limited to presence of Gluten)
- Collect samples of raw materials
- Verify CoA’s of raw materials
- Evaluate new raw material samples
- Calibrate laboratory equipment
- Enter testing results data according to established procedures
- Conduct plant inspections and ATP testing of equipment
- Make test mixes and samples
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies
- General housekeeping of the QC lab and mezzanine
- Helping with CFIA and Food Safety Action Plan tasks as needed
- Replace other positions when required

**Education**:
- This position requires a **College Diploma** (minimum) in a related field (Food Science, Chemistry, Dietetics, etc.)
**Experience**:
- Previous Quality Control experience is an asset but not required.

Effectuer l'évaluation organoleptique ainsi que les tests physiques et microbiologiques applicables aux produits finis et aux matières premières, documenter les résultats suivant les procédures établies et participer à l'inspection de l'usine.
**Tâches**:
- Effectuer les évaluations organoleptiques
- Évaluation incluant mais non limité, à goûter des produits contenant n'importe lequel allergen (poisson, fruits de mer, blé, soya, moutarde, sulphites, etc.), n'importe lequel produit de viande ou volaille (poulet, dinde, porc, boeuf, etc.), etc.
- Réaliser les tests physiques, chimiques et microbiologiques applicables aux produits finis et aux matières premières( incluant test de presence de gluten)
- Prélever des échantillons des matières premières
- Vérification des CoA des matières premières
- Évaluer les nouveaux échantillons de matières premières
- Calibrer l’équipement de laboratoire
- Entrer les résultats des données d’essai conformément aux procédures établies
- Effectuer des inspections d’usine et réaliser des analyses ATP de l’équipement
- Préparer les mélanges aux fins de tests et les echantillions
- Tenir l’inventaire des fournitures de laboratoire
- Effectuer l’entretien général du laboratoire, du service de contrôle de la qualité et de la mezzanine
- Remplacer les autres postes lorsque requis.

- Ce poste requiert un **diplôme d’études collégiales** (minimum) dans un domaine pertinent (industrie alimentaire, chimie, diététique, etc.).
**Expérience**:
- Une expérience précédente en QC est un atout mais n'est pas nécessaire.
**Salaire**:
- $21.67 par heure
