Job purpose

1. The Packaging Technician is responsible for assuring that the quality of all received packaging

materials conform to the established packaging specifications.

2. The Packaging Technician is responsible for reporting to the Packaging Specialist.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Assign Quality Control numbers (QCR for primary packaging materials and secondary packaging

materials, QCL for labels) to all receptions of the in-coming packaging materials and the in-house

printing packaging materials in order to maintain a log of receptions.

2. Sample and test the received in-coming packaging materials and in-house printing packaging

materials against established packaging specifications.

3. Complete the release reports of the incoming packaging materials and the in-house printing

packaging materials.

4. Release the approved in-coming packaging materials and the in-house printing packaging

materials.

5. Inform the packaging specialist of any Deviations, Out of Specifications (OOS), and Non
- conformities regarding the packaging materials and place them “on hold”.

6. Coordinate with the packaging specialist to investigate the root cause of the Deviations, the OOS,

and Non-conformities of the packaging materials.

7. Archive and maintain up to date the documents regarding packaging materials.

8. Work according to GMP Regulations.

Qualifications:

- Scientific or Technical Diploma
- Appropriate work experience.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Ability to lift heavy boxes;
- Problem-solving capabilities;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
