Quality Control Technician at Cosmetics Manufacturer

The QC Technician is responsible for assuring the quality of all raw materials and finished products.

The QC Technician reports to QC Manager.

**Duties and responsibilities**

a) Sample and test raw materials, in process samples, and finished products.

b) Conduct required testing on samples such as pH, viscosity, titrations, specific gravity, or other tests as seen suitable by the QC Manager using applicable chemistry methods and various instruments available in the laboratory.

c) Ensure that all lab equipment is calibrated and inform QC Manager of next expiration date.

d) Adhere to proper labelling and documentation procedures for solvents, standards, reagents, etc.

e) Familiarize with, and carry out tests according to, applicable standard operation procedures (SOP)

f) Participate in internal and external audits.

g) Keep retain samples of all products for future testing.

h) Maintain a stability program for drugs, natural health products and cosmetics.

i) Prepare samples for analysis

j) Issue specifications for finished goods.

k) Issue approved raw material files after testing of raw materials.

l) Adhere to company health and safety policies.

m) Provide accurate and timely results.

n) Maintain storage of batch files.

**Qualifications**:

- College/University Degree in physical, biological, or sciences.
- Fluent in English or/and French.
- Relevant work experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
