**Your Opportunity**
We are looking for a Learning Manager, North America to join our passionate, collaborative, and results-driven team. As part of the Learning and Organizational Development (LOD) team this role will have a significant impact on engagement, performance enablement, measurement, and will be at the core of driving our people’s success for North America. The Learning Manager for North America will plan, develop and deliver training and development activities and oversee talent management frameworks in line with global strategy and business needs. The Manager, NA will be part of the global LOD team and will report into the Director of Global Learning and OD.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
Learning Design and Delivery
- Lead effective needs-assessment, ensure the right approaches are being taken at the right time, and forecast future requirements to enable our people to bring their best.
- Demonstrate outstanding facilitation and coaching skills by supporting experiential leadership development, core-skill and/or technical learning sessions, and train-the-trainer events.
- Facilitate agile and iterative design and development approaches, ensuring stakeholder participation and effective incorporation of diverse feedback.
- Support the creation and implementation of inclusive, engaging, and effective learning and leadership development offerings, including team-based interventions and offsites.
- Develop and facilitate in support of organizational goals by leveraging and building on Stantec’s Global Career Framework as the foundation of our learning efforts.
- Spearhead effective measurement, and leverage data and analytics across Stantec to identify learning and development needs, trends, and return-on-investment.
- Influence stakeholders and designers to choose the best methodology - blended, e-learning, virtual, etc., ensuring we use the right approach for the right purpose and keep us current without chasing trends.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Management leaders and learning services to identify organizational needs, align strategies, and co-develop solutions.
- Work in partnership with talent management services and the learning services team to build programming.
OD Design and Delivery
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify critical roles, develop succession plans, and build talent pipelines.
- Monitor and analyze employee engagement surveys, providing actionable insights to improve team and organizational effectiveness.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen organizational values and promote a positive workplace culture.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Use analytics to assess the effectiveness of OD programs and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Develop metrics and dashboards to track progress on organizational development goals.
- Partner with senior leaders, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of OD initiatives with business priorities.
- Manage the design, execution, and continuous improvement of OD programs, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Oversee budgets, resources, and vendor relationships associated with OD initiatives.
- Integrate IDE principles into all OD initiatives to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace.
Team Leadership
- Lead, manage and develop the NA LOD team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Set key performance goals for team members for individual development and contribution to the organization’s learning success.
- Coach and inspire team members to innovate, bring fresh ideas and approaches to the table, and evolve our offerings to meet our audiences where they are.
Project and Program Management
- Ensure the effective and timely delivery of learning and development offerings to the North American employee base.
- Identify core clients and stakeholders, and ensure engagement, communications, and project plans involve the right people, at the right time, in the right ways.
- Coordinate and manage the schedule and availability of information and communications through our learning management system.
- Maintain our focus on the key measures of success: perform and communicate cost/benefit analysis and ensure effective measurement, reporting, and follow-up.
