We are looking for:
The Accounting Assistant works directly under the CEO and manages daily accounting tasks, including but not limited to, receivables, invoicing, collections, payables, and other administrative tasks. Minimum two years experience with an accounting software program. Minimum two years experience working in accounts payable. Strong understanding of the revenues/receivables/receipts process and the purchases/payables/payments process. Strong grasp of Microsoft Excel and its basic formulas as well as strong general computer skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Assisting clients with day-to-day queries
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including depositing cheques and preparing invoices
- Manage collections pertaining to accounts receivables
- Use computer software to manage reports and track financial data
- Create and manage a systematic filing system
- Other administrative and office duties

Skills and Qualifications
- Certificate, diploma, or degree with a concentration in accounting
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
- Team spirit
- Punctual and reliable
- Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service
- Ability to multi-task, handle busy working environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality
