**Part-‐time Job Description**
Vancouver Outdoor School and Fireside Adventures is hiring a part-‐time (15 - 20 hours per week) who comes with skill sets to manage general bookkeeping, client relations and support staff.
$22-$28 an hour
The best fit is someone:
- Who is willing to learn and take on responsibilities, demonstrate strong leadership and has excellent organizational skills.. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Can effectively co-‐manage most operational bookkeeping aspects related to planning, directing, and controlling financials. This includes sending out invoices to clients and overseeing billing processes, receiving and entering receipts and vendor bills, entering employee timesheets, carrying out monthly bank and credit cards reconciliations, and other tasks as required.
- Manage our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable books to ensure all information is accurate and up to date, conducting collection calls when necessary and making payments per payment schedules.
- Process bi-‐weekly payroll for our team and perform related HR responsibilities.
- Perform other bookkeeping duties as required.
- Interest in outdoor education and recreation, education and climate change education.
- Social media, research, data analytics, are considered an asset.
- Must have strong communication skills - oral and written
- Must be very proficient in MS Word, Excel
- Experience in accounting/bookkeeping and knowledge of QuickBooks is a must
- Fluency in French and/or Spanish is an asset.
As an Office Administrator & Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's administration and client services are operating at peak efficiency and that our clients are receiving excellent customer service.
Our office is located in Gibsons, BC where it would be required one day every two weeks to work alongside the owner and staff. Most of the tasks can be done remotely and a home office.

**Salary**: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
