Our people are our greatest asset, that is why we ensure to provide a great work environment and culture for them to succeed and grow". **Materials Supply Chain Manager** **Full Time, Day Shift Position** **Your seat at the table** **Main Duties**: - Develop and implement a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. - Utilize data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting tools to forecast supply and material needs across the organization. - Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the materials/finished goods inventory and purchasing activities. - Lead interpersonal communications, negotiations, project management, and department planning. - Ability to lead, support supplier development, negotiations, and contract-development. - Evaluate cost and quality of goods and services. - Participate in the development of specifications for products or substitute materials. - Review and process claims against suppliers. - Coach and mentor direct reports, fostering teamwork for successful department operations - Responsibility for food safety and quality. Must report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. - Must follow required Safe Operating Procedures (SOP's) as instructed by Management. - Other related duties as per job requirements. **Required Education & Experience**: - Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or related administrative services is required. - Several years of experience in material or purchasing management are required. - Knowledge of GMP and HACCP regulations. - Solid understanding of provincial Health & Safety and CFIA regulations - Fluency in both written & spoken English. **Required Skills**: - Strong leadership spirit. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Good judgement skills. - Advanced skills in Excel and intermediate skills in Word and Outlook - Good organizational skills. - Ability to function in a fast-paced production environment. - Capacity to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy. **Note**: This is not necessary an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
