**Key Responsibilities**:

- Consistently monitor equipment status to ensure working conditions.
- Able to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Use correct procedures when changing or adjusting screens, belts, rollers, belt repairs and motor swaps.
- Assist with maintenance and fueling of equipment when necessary.
- Report any equipment deficiencies to supervisor.
- Shovel out all areas that are too small for the skid steer to operate effectively.
- Check all fluid levels daily on all plant components.
- Maintain communications with all of the equipment operators to ensure they know where you are at all times, being aware of all other people and equipment working in the area.
- Working with equipment in asphalt plant.
- Able to drive rock truck if needed.
- All other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent.
- Physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- Must be comfortable working from heights.
- Must comply with Drug, Alcohol, and Fitness testing requirements.
- Prior experience working within a paving company is a definite asset.
- Availability to work both out-of-town and remote locations.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
